Serving West Chester

Twenty minutes
down Route 52
from West Chester.

West Chester has no shortage of dentists. What it has fewer of is practices where one dentist plans the implant case, performs the surgery and makes the finished teeth — which is the argument for the drive south.

Why people come here

  • Surgery and the finished teeth done by one dentist, under one roof
  • Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists
  • Fellow of the Misch Institute — and faculty at its successor
  • A written, itemized plan before anything is scheduled

Getting here

Where we are, from West Chester.

Route 52 south through Unionville is the pleasant way and usually the quickest; US-1 to the Kennett Square exit works when 52 is busy. The practice is on North Union Street with parking beside it.

The practical details

  • PA-52 south through Unionville, or US-1 to Kennett Square
  • Roughly twenty minutes outside peak traffic
  • On-street parking and a lot beside the building
  • Second opinions on implant work done elsewhere are welcome

What we do

The treatment West Chester patients come for.

Single tooth implants

One implant, one crown, and the teeth either side left completely alone.

Full-arch and All-on-4

Four to six implants carrying a fixed arch that does not come out at night.

Implant bridges

Three or four teeth in a row on two implants, rather than one implant per tooth.

Implant dentures

A denture that snaps onto implants instead of floating on the gum.

Bone grafting and sinus elevation

Rebuilding the ridge, or creating height in the upper back jaw, so an implant becomes possible.

Second opinions

On implant work planned or already done elsewhere. Bring whatever records you have.

Why people travel for this

One dentist, start to finish.

The case for travelling is continuity and accountability. When the surgery happens in one office and the teeth are made in another, each can reasonably blame the other if the result disappoints. Here one person owns the whole thing.

Dr. Patellis has been placing implants in Chester County since the early nineties and holds Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, its highest recognition tier.

Start with an exam and a straight answer.

A consultation includes an examination, 3D imaging and a written, itemized plan. If implants are not the right treatment for you, Dr. Patellis will say so and tell you what is.
